A Creative Title

I don’t think it was inevitable that it was pottery, but for a myriad of reasons of nature and nurture and life happening, this is where I ended up. But I also know now, that one way or another, this thing inside of me that, this thing was like a Wisteria vine– that could be pruned but not eradicated-this thing, was inevitably going to make its presence known. Wisteria, if it’s properly trained and pruned, is wonderful, but if you ignore it, it may just pull the house down.

SAY HELLO

When I look back, everything I’ve done has been about design or self expression or a combination of the two. With my pottery, I feel like all these different pieces of my life, different threads, come together into something new. As a gardener, I love that my vases are beautiful, practical, and, I hope, make it easy to have flowers in the house. I love making serving pieces because I love to cook, and I think sharing food with people is important, and having beautiful serving pieces seems to underline that, to say this is important
